New Year's Eve 2005 - bum clouds, party and the closing of the year

So how wild was the New Year's Eve party?

Click above for more pics and remember this pearl of wisdom for the year that has just begun:

"The man who always keeps both feet on the ground will never go anywhere."

A very happy new year to everyone and anyone :)

Yeah, the scaffolding will give way to some bar-like monstrosities and the end product will look like this: http://www.mbl.is/fasteignir/img/16/e164848_1A.jpg

An apartment just under 60 square meters in size is priced around 23 million ISK (2,91 million SEK)

there are many things about reykjavik that i love, but the architecture there has a tendency to be a little... how to put this diplomatically... "special".

but i guess it doesn't matter much how the buildings look when you can charge that sort of money for apartments.
